Brand 5 was a soft drink exclusively crafted and distributed in Gibraltar. Originally developed as an alternative to large name competitors, with import costs on other soft drinks bring too expensive for everyday people, Brand 5 is considered a piece of cultural heritage. The product is often considered ‘the original soft drink’ of Gibraltar, touching the lives of many as a staple on table tops from childhood celebrations to milestone occasions.
Unfortunately, despite local demand, the large name competitors that brand 5 once served as a replacement to became the cause of its demise. In 2019, being unable to complete with large company low manufacturing costs, Brand 5 ceased production.

Brand 5 is not just a drink but a person, place or moment in time. Homecoming aims to capture this nostalgia, reflecting on these memories to build excitement in the wake of Brand 5’s return, expressing the unique community spirit of the vibrant people of Gibraltar.
